"It's Our Job to Push"

Many thanks to the kind person who, recognizing that I was feeling discouraged, pointed me toward this video.

I have said before that Dubya did nothing if not lower our expectations. However much I share Mr. Coyote's dismay at not seeing any progressives appointed to the Obama cabinet, I agree that "a cattle thief would be better than what we've had."

  1. I was happy to see it too. It was presented to me as "eye and ear candy." ;-) You're welcome!

  2. Dear Mary,

I saw you posted your blog and immediately came to check it out, knowing it would be passionate and committed. Good for you!

Regarding Peter Coyote's comments, I quite agree with him. During the campaign I cooperated with the Obama supporters, although I do not consider him a progressive, "pero es lo que hay". As you point out in your apt title, it's your job to push.

The world certainly is a better place thanks to you, dervish of love, and all those who speak out for peace.

    Love and peace,
    Judy

  3. Thank you so much, Judy! Your blog is so beautiful. I didn't understand everything, but some (I'm still learning Spanish). The photographs are beautiful, and the peace and commitment are strong and fierce and powerful. Thank you so much for your kind words and loving, peaceful spirit!
