First read this, and then this.I turned on Wisconsin Eye this afternoon just in time to see Gordon Hintz and Cory Mason lambaste the Republican legislators for taking the vote early, without the Democrats present. They were incredibly eloquent. I was so impressed. I hope people get to see footage of their speeches, because they were really amazing.
The legislature then voted to adjourn until Tuesday, giving more time for the protesters to be heard. First it seemed like the Republicans had upended us, and then it was like the the Dems swooped in and turned things around in only a few minutes. Took my breath away. I still can hardly believe it!
